The best reason to work at AMD is because it's not a cut-throat environment and you can have a work-life balance. Everybody is doing their best and helping each other as a team. As a result, you're inspired to come to work and do your best.
The downside of working in a not-large company compared to a bigger one is that we often have less monetary reward.
