Pros

Work flexibility: Come and go as you please. WAH. As much as you want. Ok pay.

It's a great name to put on your resume.

Cons

Working around the clock. You basically work 24 hours a day with a break thrown in for your life.

Management makes delivery promises that are based on complete fiction. Then they slave drive you to meet these unobtainable deadlines.

Promotion or career advancement? Don't even think about it! Basically, if you don't make yourself "friendly" with a VP-level executive, you will not get anywhere. It's really about who you know and who likes you more than your skills and abilities.

Work-life balance? Oh yeah, they have it. It's all work and no life!

Company has a chance to be a really good place to be, a good company, but it falls short!

Advice to Management

Focus on promoting people from within and reward people for what they do, not who they know.
