I had a mentor who challenged me and really grew me as a software engineer.
The leadership was filled with toxic masculinity. They rejected me for a return offer despite having developed some of their product's core features to completion because I apparently "didn't turn on my camera enough." My assumption was that it was because I had healthy conflicts with them about work-life balance and didn't suck up to them.
