I had an introductory call with the recruiter, Lucas Wilson, and it went well. He mentioned that he would reach out for next steps to connect me with the hiring manager, and then he ghosted me.

Pros: - Work with smart people, until they burn out and leave.
Cons: - Insane work-life balance.
- Expected to be available at all times. You get a work phone at least, but you will often be messaged and expected to respond at ridiculous times. Management and even other employees paint people who are unwilling to put up with this as not having enough "drive".
- Everything is always "on fire" and high priority, creating a very chaotic atmosphere.

Pros: Teams have high expectations and work hard to achieve ambitious results. Compared to other companies that achieve the same growth results, I think we do a better job of making sure people aren’t pushing themselves to an unhealthy level.
Very unique opportunities for career growth as the company grows.
Cons: Can be too much politics as teams/orgs grow and the company reorgs itself. A typical problem of growing companies where people want to defend their turf.
