The recruiter screen was standard.
I interviewed with an engineering manager who asked a lot of product feature questions about my latest project.
He had a heavy accent and spoke quickly. He was a nice guy, but when we got to the coding portion, the question was a bit unusual.
I should have asked more clarifying questions, but he encouraged me to start coding, so I didn't ask as many questions as usual.
Around the 25-minute mark, he started speaking so quickly and with such a heavy accent that I honestly could not understand the majority of what he was saying.
However, he gave good hints, and it was good 2-pointer coding practice.
This might be useful practice for my upcoming onsite interviews.
Additionally, his reasons for joining Anduril were not compelling.
Two-pointer string question with a bad description, only verbal. I guess they are scared of AI cheating.
