Pros

Fast-paced environment, with really interesting problems to work on from a mission, robotics, and GNC perspective.

The business is only growing. I have a strong belief that the company is going to grow and do very well in the future.

Some of the smartest people I have ever met work here. You can learn a lot if you talk to the right people.

Cons

There has been a culture shift with the growth taking place. I know the company will land on its feet, but the tech feel is dwindling on a lot of the projects.

Most of management is Palantir adjacent, which makes it very difficult to move up in level. There are a few with the mentality of "train someone for your current position," which is amazing, but most are too overworked to be good managers.

Expect work-life balance to be pretty bad for most teams. You'll work hard but learn a lot.

Advice to Management

Spread out mid-level management so higher-ups aren't as overworked.

Some higher managers are still solving tech problems and approving PRs while managing 15+ people.

Focus on growth opportunities for younger engineers and reward mid-levels when they mentor them.
