I applied online and also sent emails to recruiters. I set up two interviews with two different teams. Both managers were interested in having me come onsite, but I chose the one I was more interested in (Apple's rule is to choose one).
The onsite interview was scheduled for almost four weeks later. The interview experience was good, and I performed well in many rounds, except for one.
One of the interviewers was very young, and I did not understand her questions. I have to say they were poorly articulated, and the interviewer did a poor job explaining them to me.
Finally, I received an email stating that it was a tough decision and, unfortunately, they did not want to proceed. Surely I learned something even though I did not get the offer. However, I still feel that part of the outcome was due to the interviewer's poor approach.
