Full Stack Developer Interview Experience - United States

Neutral ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process has three stages:

  • Initial recruiter phone screening.
  • Secondary phone screening with the team manager.
  • A third stage with seven current employees, spread over approximately five hours via Webex.

Of the seven employees, five conducted a combination of resume questions and coding assessments.

There was another question session with the recruiter and another with a higher-up manager, though your mileage may vary (YMMV).

These types of interviews seem to be common only at big tech companies. This approach differs from a traditional on-site interview, where observing company culture is more comprehensive compared to relying on the word of mouth from a handful of individuals.

Questions

Basically all intermediate CoderPad questions.

  • Regression
  • BFS
  • DFS
  • Multithreading
  • System design, etc.
