Pros: The massive scale challenges faced by the Apple IS&T division provide a great environment to elevate your skills. The IS&T model of using lots of low-skilled contractors can be a great way to learn how to manage teams and get things done with poor-quality tools.
Cons: The outsourcing model to contractors from the lowest-bidding vendors is more of a management drain than a benefit.
The struggle to corral a horde of barely-competent people and get something accomplished is frustrating, and the overhead is plenty of waste.

Pros: Overall, a good company to work for, but the management seems to think they own the employees and so treat them like slaves.
Do everything you are told and don’t ask any questions.
The unpopular forced return to the office is just one example of the lack of respect for employees.
Cons: Management doesn't listen to employees.
Lots of people with special interests (i.e., political hacks).
The Apple values' palette (focus on quality, collaboration, etc.) is used to mop the floors on my team.
