Software Engineer (Sw QA Engineer) Interview Experience - United States

Process

The first interview was a 45-minute session with the Hiring Manager, who asked questions about my resume.

The second interview was a technical one that lasted for 45 minutes. It was not a great experience, as it was difficult to understand the interviewer from the team. He rushed through the questions and spoke very fast. He also seemed condescending and impatient with the questions he asked.

After some broad technical questions about programming and my resume, he presented a LeetCode medium-difficulty question. He was very helpful during the coding section, though.

I could tell that this team had the position open for more than a year, which is a red flag. Therefore, I would not recommend applying to this team, as they are either very picky or have turned many people off.
