I went through a technical phone round followed by an onsite with five back-to-back interviews. After all rounds, they said I performed well but that I would have to wait as they were interviewing other candidates. I waited for two months with no update. I then reached back out to the recruiter, who stated I was still under consideration. Finally, the recruiter called me to discuss offer expectations and promised to send an offer within a couple of days. However, after that call, there was no response from the recruiter at all. I waited for a couple of weeks and sent another email, but received no response to any of my messages. I was finally fed up and let it go. They do not respect the time, effort, and energy a candidate puts in. They simply ghost you without providing a proper reason. If they had found another person for the role, why didn't they simply inform me so I could move on? This was a very bad experience that I never expected from a company like Apple. I will never interview with Apple again.
