Living in London is incredibly expensive.
People going to the office as opposed to fully remote should make WAY more.

First round technical interview - implement Map Reduce using Python (or other language of choice) in Hackerrank. Online via Zoom, with a member of the team one would be joining.
Surface Finishing Engineer
Applied online, then was scheduled for a phone interview. The interview was not too good as the interviewer was based in the US, so the call kept on disconnecting.

It was a behavioral interview. I was rejected about a week later over the phone. They told me the interview went really well; they just decided to go with someone else.
