Smartest group of people I've ever worked with: it feels like I'm constantly learning, across all divisions.
Hard tech: we work on hard problems, with interesting tech.
Customer driven: coming from an R&D company, it's great to see how much impact our products are having for our customers.
Growth: the company is growing so fast, the only way to adapt is to grow with it. New opportunities, products, and teams regularly open up, so it never feels like you're stuck. Internal teams also operate like their own mini-startups, so you will learn how to build products, scale teams, and successfully ship to customers.
High autonomy + bottom-up culture.
Feedback culture: you will continuously seek feedback from peers, managers, or anyone else in the company.
Performance-based culture: Related to the feedback culture above, you don't have to wait 6 months or 1 year to know how you are performing. But it also means you have to pull your own weight to contribute to the success of the company.
50 hours is not for everyone. Do not work here if you expect a 9-to-5 job.
You can easily get the impression that everyone is working all the time, when in reality there is always someone working. There is a strong emphasis on being self-regulated.
As the company continues to grow rapidly, stay true to the values that have made it successful so far. Continue to be very paranoid about not becoming a corporate hell.
Recruiter phone call, initial interview (which was a technical screen), then the final round of 4 onsite interviews (3 technical, 1 behavioral). Then, had multiple calls with different teams during the offer process.
Medium level difficulty focused on the day-to-day products they build. Seems like a very work-intensive organization. The people were very friendly, but I suspect a little bit of Stockholm syndrome love for their overworking employer.
Did two rounds of interviews (not including phone screen with recruiter). First interview - Leetcode medium problem (Study your Leetcode)! Second interview - discussion about previous robotics/coding experience. Very high-level. Medium Leetcode-sty
