Good company with a nice salary and other benefits.
Sometimes a bit slow to adapt to new technologies. In algorithms, it's a bit behind the market, and in software, the gap is somewhat bigger.

Applied Materials Interview Experiences
Algorithm Engineer
Two engineers (a team leader and a team member) interviewed me. They talked about the company and its goals. Then, I talked about myself and my main project, and they asked me several questions.
Algorithm Engineer
Technical interview. I talked about my history and heard about the company and the vision team. They look for defects in wafers given a laser scan of it, which is sort of a 3D image.
Applications Engineer
Group dynamic with 5 other candidates. If you pass, you go to a professional interview at headquarters. If you pass that, you have another interview with the manager. Finally, the last one you have to go through is with HR.
