The engineering org is somewhat siloed into several teams that don't really have a unified vision of how to develop software that works together. SOA? Not much. This is despite best intentions from top management. Reality is you can't turn big monoliths into a platform, not overnight anyway.
The interview process consisted of: * First round with HR. * Second technical round. * Third technical round. * Fourth and Fifth rounds with the Hiring Manager in the US. The HR representative was very rude to me. He assumed I knew everything, when
Recruiter call, followed by two rounds of technical interviews and a behavioral round with the manager. Technical interview 2 was harder and less logical in my opinion (DS/algo, but the algo was more of a trick than anything).
The recruiter was extremely unprofessional. I tried scheduling a call with the recruiter within a week, but instead, they picked a date months out that conflicted with my surgery. I notified them about the conflict, and they sent me an auto-rejection
