I applied for the position of Mechanical Engineer in July 2021. I was contacted by HR for an interview sometime in September 2021.
My first round was with two different team leads who asked me general questions about my background, career expectations, and motivation. They delved into some details regarding the projects you have worked on (what worked, what did not work, what could you have done better, and so on).
I was invited onsite for an interview later. The interview had two rounds, each for an hour, with various team leads and also an architect. Expect some in-depth technical questions related to your project.
I was also shown some designs and asked to describe what happens if a load is applied. Some general mechanical engineering questions were also asked: stress, strain, yield stress, Young's modulus definitions, graphs, etc.
The managers were really friendly and professional throughout the whole interview process, so there was nothing to be nervous about. Sadly, I did not get any offer.
