After waiting 7 months to interview after COVID hit (understandable, many were freezing hiring), I kept in contact, remained 'visible' and 'interested' in the company.

Had good rapport with the interviewers, solved the live challenges, and pointed out inconsistencies in the UI.

The role worked for someone wanting to pivot to a less intense part of the tech field. They were clearly concerned that I would be too 'bored' in the role. I knew what the role was when a recruiter reached out.
