Pros: Good pay, good benefits. Depending on what department you work in, your experiences can be bad or good.

Cons: Horrible schedules, minimal training, no stability. Constant layoffs and outsourcing.

Pros: Salaries tend to be higher than the market rate. The promotion process is simple: you must only do your time in title and show interest. Benefits are stellar compared to other employers. Lots of e-learning courses are available. There are diverse departments and job functions to get promoted into. It's difficult to get fired or laid off, unless there's a surplus or an office closing.

Cons: The downsides are typical of any large company: obscurity as to which departments do what, top-heavy in Sr. Level Management. Quarterly surpluses come out to get rid of employees. Intra-subsidiary transfer is difficult.

Pros: Fairly stable, as stable as you can get in the current work environment. Decent pay for what you do. Benefits are decent.

Cons: Constant change. Managers have no people skills. Little to no skills growth potential. Little to no communication of departmental vision.
