Managers have no people skills.
Little to no skills growth potential.
Little to no communication of departmental vision.
They need to realize there should be two distinct career paths for employees.
Forcing people with no people skills to manage is a complete mistake. If you are unable to manage people, you have zero advancement potential.
Stop micromanaging people. If you feel that is necessary, the hiring practices need to be changed.
