Pros

The benefits are fantastic – both product discounts and healthcare. The pay is decent, unless you are in a non-customer-facing or support job.

Cons

Constant purchasing of other companies creates a never-ending cycle of layoffs and "surplus." Those of us with more than 15 years of service were the first to go, regardless of position or performance.

If you are over 40, don't bother.

Advice to Management

Youth is not the answer to everything, just because they cost less.

Retain some of the wireline employees.

Bring the ordering centers back to the United States.

Contract workers are not good for every department.
