Pros

The pay is great and benefits are good, but they are slowly being taken away.

Cons

There is no sense of job security the past few years since outsourcing started.

Jobs either go offshore, or a group is taken and announced that they are now working for another company. These people are sitting at their same desks, doing the same job, but now for another company with fewer benefits. After a year, they are told that their salary is going to be lowered, or they can look for another job.

Raises don't even cover the cost of living. Senior management continues to receive high salaries, bonuses, and stock rewards.

Advice to Management

Outsourcing looks great on paper, but if you have to work with them on a daily basis and support their work, it cannot possibly be a savings.

Senior management needs to be reduced. They continue to lay off the lowest level of workers, but their numbers don't change. It would also be nice for them to feel some of the pain of their actions and for their salaries and benefits to be closer to what they are paying their workers.
