Pros

Camaraderie, forefront of technology, leading-edge services, customer impacting, work-life balance, career opportunity, and rewarding achievement.

Cons

Employee mental health from working in a company that is consistently pushing to reduce its workforce in a highly competitive industry. Salary compression for long-term employees who are extremely happy in their positions.

Advice to Management

When new (rotation) management enters a new organization, I believe they need to spend as much time understanding the current state of the business before demanding changes that have impacts they may not understand. Too many times have I seen orgs pulled from one end of the spectrum to the other, only to return when under new management.

Management needs to take the experience from their employee base and use it to make informed decisions.
