I'd like to add that they're very flexible. If you don't qualify for a position, they offer to interview you for others that may suit you better. So, I started the process for a Senior Developer position, then switched to a plain Developer role. I failed the interview with one team, but they offered me an interview with a different team, and I finally received an offer.

Pros: Good work-life balance, some interesting projects and technologies, but that depends on each team. Good internal trainings to grow as a professional.

Cons: Some very old technologies and legacy code. Nothing cutting edge. Old architects are reluctant to change some things. Development infrastructure is quite messy.

Pros: - Exciting products. - Very smart people to work with. - Given independence in the tools that I can work with. - So many perks like food and beer. - So many social activities, like Melbourne Cup and EOFY parties.

Cons: - You can get left behind by everyone if you don't blog regularly. No one will notice you're there. - They claim that they're an open company, but there are so many secrets. Some people are kept in the dark about things they want to know. - Management isn't interested in career development. It's very hard to move to another position that you're more interested in. They'd rather hire new people.

Pros: Allows WFH. That's literally it.

Cons: Clueless Directors and VPs. No strategy. Just ad hoc projects shoved down the throats of engineers with crazy deadlines. Extreme politics. Extreme favoritism. There are P70s and P60s who slack off and don't land any impact, but they are blessed every half for kissing behinds. APEX is the Hunger Games. Over hiring. No impactful work = dog eat dog. Zero product strategy. Zero customer focus. Horrible WLB. Chaos.
