I had two coding interviews for the Sydney location:
For Browser Coding, I was asked to build an extremely simple UI. The interviewer seemed happy with the outcome, often saying words like 'awesome.' However, the feedback received later was not so good.
For JS Coding, I was given one promise-related task, which I completed quickly. Follow-up questions were not straightforward, but I thought the overall interview went well. However, I was shocked at the feedback I received, which felt more like nitpicking and opinionated views.
Based on this experience, it seems selection is based more on the interviewer's opinion of you rather than actual technical skills, completed tasks, or your potential.
Hope that helps!
