First call with HR went well. Went to the second stage, to a technical interview with an engineering lead. He asked quite specific questions, and they were really focused on one application they were working on. I didn't have the right details, so we didn't go forward. I also asked him about the engineering culture there, and he choked. My answers after that weren't great.

Drafting a solution for a hypothetical ML problem, and then discussing that in detail. The specific ML problem could have been any of hundreds, but he asked about this one and my experience was from a few years ago.

I've done over a decade of commercial ML, so I know a bit about most applications. I didn't get lucky this time.
