Atlassian provides great information on its interview process.

The interview has several steps:

• An HR screening
• Two coding interviews
• A system design interview
• A manager interview
• A values interview

It took me about 4 weeks to get through all the interview steps.

HR Round Asks about relevant experience and checks salary expectations.

Code 1 and 2 Write a rate limiter and calculate the size of files on a system. This involves performing a calculation on a list of lists and sorting a list.

System Design Design a tagging system.

Manager Interview Asks questions such as:

• Can you describe a time you had a conflict with your team?
• Can you describe a failed project you worked on?

Last Interview: Values Interview Some questions include:

• Can you describe a time you worked with a great team?
• Can you describe a time you broke down a timeline for a project?
• Can you describe a time you had a different view from someone on your team?
