Applied online, spoke with a recruiter, then had a coding screen with a third-party company, Karat, using their platform.

Pros:

• 24/7 scheduling
• Very fast turnaround
• Had the opportunity to redo the interview if I thought I could do better.

Cons:

• Kind of a flaky platform; the sound kept cutting out.
• The IDE, while similar to CoderPad, lacked syntax highlighting and auto-imports.

The interview was divided into sections, strictly time-limited:

• 1 minute for intro
• 20 minutes for a set of 5 technical questions
• 30 minutes for coding (as many problems as we could fit)
• 9 minutes for questions (which was kind of silly, as my interviewer did not work for Atlassian)
