Process

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months.

The interview process consists of six rounds:

  • Round 1: A 60-minute interview with an external company. The first 30 minutes involve answering five technical questions of medium difficulty. The last 30 minutes are spent solving a LeetCode problem in your choice of programming language.
  • Round 2: A 60-minute pair programming session focused on data structures and algorithms (DSA). In this round, I was asked to create a file storage system.
  • Round 3: A 60-minute pair programming interview that assessed code structure. During this round, I was tasked with building an API rate limiter.
  • Round 4: A system design interview where I was asked to design a tagging system for Atlassian.
  • Round 5: A manager's interview, which included discussions about my projects and was primarily behavioral in nature.
  • Round 6: A values interview, which is typically an HR interview.

After successfully completing all six rounds and receiving a positive response, candidates are given options to choose their teams. Once a team is selected, the final interview, conducted by the team manager, takes place before an offer.
