The interview process involved a phone interview followed by five rounds of virtual on-site interviews:
The questions were of easy to medium difficulty. What struck me was that after spending a whole day with their engineers, they sent a template rejection email without even modifying the customized part. My employer was not "XXX company".
Incidentally, they sent the template after a week, without any communication in between. They had said they would contact me in a day or two. I also sent two emails to appreciate their effort and ask for a follow-up. It seems their hiring team doesn't understand basic courtesy. If you cannot move forward with a candidate, at least send an email to notify them.
Will you promise something to your customer like this? Is this how your company shows its value? No BS?
Ironically, they sent a questionnaire to collect data about hiring democracy.
I finally understand the word "Corporate".
2 easy-medium LC questions.
And 1 system design, maybe failed at this round.
