Pros
  • Exciting products.
  • Very smart people to work with.
  • Given independence in the tools that I can work with.
  • So many perks like food and beer.
  • So many social activities, like Melbourne Cup and EOFY parties.
Cons
  • You can get left behind by everyone if you don't blog regularly. No one will notice you're there.
  • They claim that they're an open company, but there are so many secrets. Some people are kept in the dark about things they want to know.
  • Management isn't interested in career development. It's very hard to move to another position that you're more interested in. They'd rather hire new people.
Advice to Management

Listen to what your employers want, rather than aggressively hiring such a lot of people from all over the world. Look at what you have right now. Your employees might have the skills that you're looking for.
