A two-step process: one with the talent team and another with the manager. One was a phone interview, and the other was a video call on Zoom. It went on for more than one hour.
Questions
It was an interview with the engineering manager. He asked typical management questions, and the discussion was very fruitful and positive.
However, after the interview, the talent acquisition team mentioned they are looking for a software background. This was a complete shock, as there were no questions around that.
