Process

I applied through LinkedIn and received a call from HR. The role was C++ based.

The first round was a telephonic interview where I was asked questions mostly on C++ OOPS concepts, STL, and smart pointers.

I was scheduled for a face-to-face interview within a couple of days. There were two face-to-face interviews:

The first was primarily technical, covering C++ OOPS concepts, data structures and algorithms, STL, constructors, one logical programming question, and one puzzle. The questions included basic math and geometry concepts to solve.
The second interview was a blend of technical and HR questions.

The interviewers gave ample time to listen to my approach and were also ready to offer guidance. Make sure to revise basic math and geometry concepts regarding vectors and transformation matrices.

Questions

In an array of elements occurring twice consecutively, find the element that occurs only once. For example, in the array 4, 4, 2, 2, 3, 5, 5, the output must be 3.

For a rectangular paper with a given length and breadth, write a program to find the minimum number of squares that can be cut so that the entire paper is consumed.

Pros: Overall, a good company. Hybrid work is offered. However, it does not support full remote work, at least in India, which many employees desire. Work-life balance is messed up, and you have to adjust. There are lots of calls in the evening. If you can adjust, then that's good. But since most of the days we are working from home, it's somewhat acceptable.

Cons: No remote work. If I have to attend evening or night calls, or sometimes early morning calls, it's better to have remote work opportunities. Otherwise, we don't get time to spend with our families. At least there should be an option for remote work.
