Cons

Managerial politics in some teams.

Budget distribution/allocations lead to zero/minimum appraisal. This is also specific to teams which higher management is not aware about internal politics.

Manager decides your role and level you will work, irrespective of your experience and skill set.

For the same task in different projects, a few get hats off/appreciation/applause, and some are not even recognized.

No matter how much effort you put in, everything will depend on the manager and budget.

Advice to Management

Please check employees' progress and if they are happy with their work, not only by glint surveys but by keeping two/three-level skip meetings. Management will perfectly get the budget game insights.
