They pay their contractors very well.

Cons

Layoffs are affecting teams to a great extent. FTE is not being offered to contractors who go above and beyond.

Some teams have no defined path, and things jump around.

They should recognize contract talent and utilize that knowledge.

Do away with the "them vs. us" mentality (FTE vs. Contractor).

There's a lack of urgency and poor communication.

Advice to Management

Look at those you hire as contractors. Some want to be FTEs and will go above and beyond.
