Process

Spoke with the recruiter around the end of January and took a tech screen in the beginning of February.

Assumed they weren't moving on since I didn't hear back for almost 2 weeks. The recruiter explained that it was hectic trying to get the proper feedback from the tech screen.

The recruiter then told me that the hiring manager would be out of office until the end of February, and that was when I did my onsite.

The final round interview is split up over two days, which I liked since both parties can cut losses if the hiring committee doesn't feel that the candidate is a good fit.

Interviews were very practical and centered around Benchling's product.

Overall, the interviewers had very impressive backgrounds, were friendly, and seemed like they really believed in the product.

I wished the process could have been sped up a little more, but I understand they may be trying to accommodate more candidates than usual because of the job market.
