I was sold on the company by their problem scope, mission, and the lead recruiter. We had a few calls, and then we set up an initial phone screen. I interviewed with an Eng manager and was told my solution is the same way Benchling actually implements this currently, but I ran out of time and didn't get my code to run. I was told I would "definitely get a chance to talk to other members of our team," which indicated I did well enough to move on to the next round.
After 8 weeks and several follow-up emails, I have not heard a thing from Benchling (not even a rejection email).
Ghosting prospective employees who take time to interview is a pretty big red flag.
