Front End Lead Interview Experience

May 1, 2014
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Fairly brief and straightforward. They ask a question, you answer. It was pretty clear who they had planned to take the position, and that the interview was to make the whole thing appear fair and just. I brought a pen and journal, as well as a 30-60-90 outlining everything I had planned to do for the position (I was already unofficially doing it). But, as it followed one of the biannual company reorganizations, I knew that a recently demoted lead was going to be chosen, despite knowing nothing of the position and later producing failing numbers with the team to the point they were asked to quit.
