The people there are generally young and very friendly. I encountered one unpleasant director in two years. The work-life balance is really amazing. There are some periods of crunch time, and you can take on a lot of responsibility, but generally it’s quite chill. The unlimited PTO is fantastic, and a lot of people abuse it. My manager was on about 40 days off in a year. Most people take between 28 and 35.
Unless you land on one of the ML or compute teams, the tech is really old with an atrocious CI/CD pipeline. The pay and bonuses definitely can be better, and there’s a sense that most associates stick around just for the unlimited PTO.
