There were a lot of very friendly people that wanted to propel me forward.
There was a lot of opportunity to learn more about the company and the work that they did.
I was given a lot of time to do research to find the best strategy to perform my work.
Generally, there was never too much of a rush, and work-life balance was supreme.
I could choose my hours as school picked up or calmed down.
My workstation was locked down. I was stuck in Windows with very little ability to modify or install software. As a result, my work was slow as I could not use tools that would make me most effective.
Find some way for people in software to develop more freely. There is very sensitive data at stake, so I have some level of understanding.
