First round with hiring manager. Outright told me halfway through the interview that they were going to switch gears and not proceed, after giving me positive feedback on my answers.
I was then contacted for three more panel interviews, each 45 minutes, over the next week. So, I assumed the "we're switching gears" was just to see how I responded to rejection.
Went through the whole process and never got a call back. Called a couple of weeks later and was told, "The team is going to pass."
How would you manage a team remotely?
