Process
Pretty standard hiring process with a phone screen coding session and two on-site pairings. There’s also a high-level architecture discussion where the topic was provided in an email before the onsite. What surprised me was the attentiveness of the interviewers. Everyone cared and worked to not be intimidating. The questions all start off easy to let you get comfortable and build some momentum. I really enjoyed the process. I’ve been with Square now for a few months and I couldn’t be happier. I took this over another big company in southbay and never looked back.
