I had a great experience with Maggie Chan as my recruiter. She's very professional, respectful, and responsive. The whole process was very smooth, and she even took the time to set up a phone call with me to give me feedback after they decided not to move forward with my candidacy. I'm very impressed, and I'll definitely apply again when the time is right.

Pros: It's difficult work at times, but worthwhile. The eng culture is good, afaik.
Cons: Stock prices plummet sometimes. But so they do everywhere in fintech, and they try to give out more to meet their compensation expectations.

Able to work on products that are used every day by millions.
Challenging problems for engineers at scale.
Cons: Executive vision can feel flip-floppy.
The company hasn't kept up with market compensation rates.
Square only has half of a CEO.

Great WLB and remote work policy

Pros: Work-life balance is great, as well as the remote work policy. The transfer process is quick and easy when moving to different locations.
Cons: Not much. I have only recently started here.
