This was my 5th internship (SF office) and definitely the best place I've ever worked at.
Great aesthetic, great tech feel. Empathetic and fun people. Imo, very well-polished product(s). Strong tech talent. Technical managers. Not surprising, since it's technical from the CEO down.
Great work-life balance, and coworkers will tell you to chill out if they think you're overworking. Lots of learning opportunities. Infrastructure is pretty great. Felt like everything was smooth and made sense here.
Also the food was absolutely fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. So fantastic I have to say it three times.
Trivial things like not having a gym onsite (it was across the street). Also, the beer on tap was broken during my time there (not that I was 21 anyway). I hope that the utter lack of any serious cons shows you how glowing this place was for me.
Phone screen with recruiter. Tech phone screen: Coding round on CoderPad with a 5-part question, similar to LeetCode. It involved something about probability and next words. I didn't pass, but after passing there is a virtual onsite.
Phone screen and then a full day of interviews. There were: * 3 pair programming challenges * A system design review * A prior experience interview There was also an onsite lunch with a person from the company.
The whole process took about 2.5 months, from applying up to accepting the offer. The process was streamlined and the interviewers were nice and collaborative. I applied online, and after two weeks, a recruiter emailed to set up a call. After that,
