Process

The recruiter led every candidate for a brief visit to the Bloomberg tower and then led us to get the lunch boxes. After that, two interviewers for the first round took me to the interview room. No whiteboard was prepared; we were only writing on paper. The interviewers were very kind, and when I needed a clue, they gave me some. The second-round interviewer was an Indian guy. He didn't ask me for algorithms, just talked. Even though I was rejected, I think this experience was not bad.

Questions

Nothing difficult.

This was a basic project introduction and only one algorithm question: reverse linked list.

The system design topic was tiny URL design.
