Applied online and received a phone interview about one month later. The phone interview was rather simple, basically focused on pointers, references, and hash tables.
Attended the onsite one week later. There were two technical rounds. I was asked three coding questions and some C++ fundamentals. Both rounds were very simple. I worked out the problems in seconds and wrote down bug-free code.
After that was a manager round. Some HR questions were asked, such as "Why do you want to join Bloomberg?" I guess this is where I made mistakes. I am not a native speaker and could not explicitly clarify my reason "why I want to work at Bloomberg."
No difficult questions at all. I finished all the coding problems in less than 15 minutes.
