Financial Applications Developer Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

First, they asked me a linked list question: how to delete an assigned number from a linked list. The number might not be in the list, or it may appear multiple times.

Then, they asked me a brain-teaser-like question. They provided some functions and asked me how to design an operating system for the machine.

Overall, the interviewers were quite nice. They would give hints if I was stuck. I think they are more likely to find someone who knows how to solve problems rather than someone who knows coding.
