Financial Software Developer Intern Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

They basically asked C or C++ questions. I did not have a C++ background, so I was grilled on C.

The first question they asked me was to write a program to cause a stack overflow (just call a function within itself, and it will do the job).

After that, they asked me to write a function that converts First Name, Last Name to Last Name, First Name in C.

Then there were some questions on malloc and calloc, like the difference between these two, etc.

Questions

Write a function to cause a stack overflow.

Write a function to convert First Name, Last Name to Last Name, First Name.
