Process
I applied at university but was rejected at first. I had also applied online, so luckily, I got a call from there after two months.
I gave a skills assessment test in C as I am from a CS background. The next day, I got an email for a phone interview round.
The phone interview mostly consisted of C++ questions, a couple of algorithm questions, and some networking questions. Now I have an on-site interview in a few days.
Questions
How will you find out what has happened in the network if the network speed initially is 10Mbps but suddenly drops down to 10Kbps?

Pros: - Good compensation (salary, insurance, etc.)
- 20 paid days off per year.
- Easier to become a manager than in most other large tech companies.
Cons: Really depends on the team. The following comments apply to most of the teams that I have heard of, but won't be true for everyone for sure.
* Tech is really old and there are a lot of trivial work. It's hard to sharpen your tech skills. If you want to pursue a 'geek' career, that's not the place.
* Bad work-life balance.

Pros: When free food is the biggest perk you can think of, there isn't much else to like.
Benefits are good too, I guess.
And since they hire a lot of fresh-out-of-college grads, it can be a good starting place.
Cons: The work is very unsatisfying on all levels. New technologies are seldom used. There is a lot of work pressure and a lot of workload. HR doesn't care two hoots about you in any aspect. The work is boring and tedious, the environment is very closed, very hierarchical, and very bureaucratic. There are very few career growth prospects. The learning environment is very narrow, as teams are not encouraged to learn from each other and/or collaborate.

Pros: Pay is extremely good -- twice what anybody else is offering.
Cons: Brutal hours. People die here from overwork. Be prepared to work 14-hour days and weekends.
Utterly ossified management, micromanagement, downright harassment, and brutally invasive oversight. Zero flexibility on rules or hours. Complete contempt for employees, with no credit for ideas. Incredibly bad design and obsolete technology.
