Financial Software Developer Interview Experience

Process

I posted my resume and cover letter through their website and received a phone interview three weeks later.

The phone interview lasted about 50 minutes. The questions included some details about the JVM and C++.

I did not expect them to ask questions on Java, as they do not seem to work with Java.

He also asked me some very easy questions on arrays. However, I could not understand his accent. Even though I repeated his question twice, he said yes, and I still misunderstood what he meant.

Questions

  1. Differences between C and Java

  2. Details about JVM

  3. What are compiler, linker, and loader.
