Pros: Decent compensation, before you realize a 10-hour workday is the expectation. Good health coverage. Some good people. Looks good on a resume.

Cons: A flat, sad, and stagnant environment, packed with has-beens enduring a soul-crashing grind. The codebase is messy, kludgy, missing comments, tests, formatting, and a basic understanding of good design. There's a lot of prop tech that's useless elsewhere, old, and might trigger a bad case of OCD just from looking at it. Frequent emails from management remind everyone of BLP's greatness and how lucky everyone is for getting a chance to enhance it further through hard work and personal sacrifice.

Pros: Good benefits, not too much pressure.

Cons: Depending on manager and team.

Pros: Work-life balance is good. The culture is that if you don't complain, just finish your tasks, and bear some rude behavior, you can survive a number of years.

Cons: There is a culture of retaliation. If you bring up discriminant or rude behavior to the boss, they don't take any action. One manager even removed me from meetings with that rude employee and explained to me that it was for my good. Rather than correcting the behavior, they slowly demote you.
